On March 10, 2022, the ceremonial opening of the exhibition Sent to the North took place in the Jiří Mahens Central Library in Brno. Mrs. Gabriela Obstová gave an introductory word on behalf of the library and dr. Vendula V. Hingarová, Nordist from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University and his Excellency Robert Kvile, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to the Czech Republic, both deliverd a speech. The opening of the exhibition was attended by 50 guests. Among those present were six families of descendants of Noráci, and some of them lent period photographs, letters, diaries and other memorable artifacts from their relative's stay in Norway for the exhibition.

After the opening ceremony, Dr. Vendula V. Hingarová gave a lecture on the forced Czechs in Norway and provided an insight into the behind-the-scenes research on this almost forgotten war story.
